LSTC-ED (Linear Shockwave Tissue Coverage) for the Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction
The breakthrough came after the piezo shockwave technology was developed and a therapy source was created with a linear focused shockwave capable of treating larger areas. The combination of the therapy source with the new LSTC-ED therapy concept (syn. volume ESWT-ED) improved the administration technique and therapy outcomes.
We took the utmost care to research this procedure and prepare it for clinical approval. It was important for us to provide serious scientific evidence and study data. A prospective, multicenter placebo-controlled study (*) with 75 patients showed a significant improvement in IIEF-5 scores, with successful outcomes reported for 81% of patients after one month of treatment. An improvement in function was found even at 6 months after treatment, proving the long-term beneficial effect of LSTC-ED treatment.
